QUALIFICATION

REQUIREMENTS

STPM
(Current Year)

Passed the STPM with at least CGPA of 2.0 and Grade C in any three (3) subjects including General Studies;
AND
Candidate must have one (1) of the following qualification:
• Yamaha Certificate Minimum Grade 7;
• The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) Certificate Minimum Grade 5;
• Trinity College London (TCL) Certificate Minimum Grade 5;
• London College of Music (LCM) Certificate Minimum Grade 5;
• Australian GUILD Music & Speech Exam Board Certificate Minimum Grade 5;
• Possess other related certificate(s) in Music;
OR
Obtained at least Grade B for Music subject at SPM level;
OR
Have working experience in Music field for at least three (3) years by submitting related evidence;
AND
Obtained at least Band 2.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for the examination starting session 1 of 2021 or Band 2 for the examination until 2020 according to the validity period on the date of application;
AND
Passed audition and interview.

REQUIREMENT 1

Possess a Diploma in Music from Malaysia Public University or other institution recognized by the Government of Malaysia and the University Senate with at least CGPA of 2.00;
AND
Obtained at least Band 2.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for the examination starting session 1 of 2021 or Band 2 for the examination until 2020
according to the validity period on the date of application;
AND
Passed audition and interview.

OR
REQUIREMENT 2 

Passed the STPM not the current year with at least CGPA of 2.0 and Grade C in any three (3) subjects including General Studies; 

AND 

Candidate must have at least one (1) of the following qualification: 

• Yamaha Certificate Minimum Grade 7; 

• The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) Certificate Minimum Grade 5; 

• Trinity College London (TCL) Certificate Minimum Grade 5;

•London College of Music (LCM)Certificate MinimumGrade 5;

•Australian GUILDMusic&SpeechExam BoardMinimumGrade 5;

•Possess otherrelated certificate(s) inMusic;

OR 

Obtained at least Grade B for Music subject at SPM level;

OR 

Have working experience in Music field for atleast three (3) years by submitting related evidence;

Obtained at least Band 2.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for the examination starting session 1 of 2021 or Band 2 for the examination until 2020 according to the validity period on the date of application;

OR
REQUIREMENT 3

Passed the Matriculation / Foundation not the current year with at least CGPA of 2.00;

AND

Candidate must have at least one (1) of the following qualification:

•Yamaha Certificate Minimum Grade 7;

•The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) Certificate Minimum Grade 5;

•Trinity College London (TCL) Certificate Minimum Grade 5;

•London College of Music (LCM) Certificate  Minimum Grade 5;

•Australian GUILD Music&Speech Exam Board Minimum Grade 5;

•Possess otherrelated certificate(s) inMusic;

OR

Obtained at least Grade B for Music subjectat SPM level;

OR

Have working experience in Music field for atleast three (3) years by submitting related evidence; 
 

AND 

Obtained at least Band 2.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for the examination starting session 1 of 2021 or Band 2 for the examination until 2020 according to the validity period on the date of application;  

AND

Passed audition and interview.

REQUIREMENT 1 

Possess a GCE A-Level qualification with at least Grade B in any two (2) subjects; 

AND

Candidate must have at least one (1) of the following qualification: 

• Yamaha Certificate Minimum Grade 7; 

• The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) Certificate Minimum Grade 5; 

• Trinity College London (TCL) Certificate Minimum Grade 5; 

• London College of Music (LCM) Certificate Minimum Grade 5; 

• Australian GUILD Music & Speech Exam Board Minimum Grade 5; 

• Possess other related certificate(s) in Music; 
 

OR

Obtained at least Grade B for Music subject at SPM level; 

AND

Obtained at least Band 2.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for the examination starting session 1 of 2021 or Band 2 for the examination until 2020 according to the validity period on the date of application; 

Nevertheless, candidate with no MUET result but having the following may be considered for admission subject to completion of MUET requirement within one (1) academic session: 

• Obtained at least Band 4 in IELTS; or 

• Obtained at least 437 (PBT), 123 (CBT), and 41 (IBT) scores in TOEFL; 

AND 

Passed audition and interview.

REQUIREMENT 2 

Passed the Foundation Studies in Creative Arts (ASWARA) with at least CGPA of 2.00; 

AND

Obtained at least Band 2.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for the examination starting session 1 of 2021 or Band 2 for the examination until 2020 according to the validity period on the date of application; 

AND

Passed audition and interview.
