STPM

(Current Year)

Obtain at least a CGPA of 3.00 at the STPM level; 

AND

Obtain at least Grade B- in any two (2) subjects at the STPM level; 

AND

Candidate must have one (1) of the following qualification:

1. Yamaha Certificate Minimum Grade 7;
2. The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) Certificate Minimum Grade 5;
3. Trinity College London (TCL) Certificate Minimum Grade 5;
4. London College of Music (LCM) Certificate Minimum Grade 5;
5. Australian GUILD Music & Speech Exam Board Certificate Minimum Grade 5;
6. Possess other related certificate(s) in Music;

AND

Pass audition and interview.

OR

Have working experience in Music field for at least three (3) years by submitting related evidence;

AND

Obtain at least Band 3.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for the examination starting session 1 of 2021 or Band 2 for the examination until 2020 according to the validity period on the date of application;

Obtain at least a CGPA of 3.00 at the Foundation/Matriculation level;

AND

Obtain at least Grade B- in any two (2) subjects at the Foundation/Matriculation level;

AND

Candidate must have one (1) of the following qualification:

1. Yamaha Certificate Minimum Grade 7;
2. The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) Certificate Minimum Grade 5;
3. Trinity College London (TCL) Certificate Minimum Grade 5;
4. London College of Music (LCM) Certificate Minimum Grade 5;
5. Australian GUILD Music & Speech Exam Board Certificate Minimum Grade 5;
6. Possess other related certificate(s) in Music;

AND

Pass audition and interview.

AND

Obtain at least Band 3.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for the examination starting session 1 of 2021 or Band 2 for the examination until 2020 according to the validity period on the date of application;

Possess a Diploma in Music from Malaysia Public University or other institution recognized by the Government of Malaysia and the University Senate with at least a CGPA of 3.00;

AND

Obtain at least Grade B- in any two (2) subjects at the Diploma level;

AND

Pass audition and interview.

AND

Obtain at least Band 3.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for the examination starting session 1 of 2021 or Band 2 for the examination until 2020 according to the validity period on the date of application;

Obtain a least a CGPA of 3.00 at the UM Foundation (SATU) level; 

AND

Obtain at least Grade B- in any two (2) subjects at the UM Foundation (SATU) level;   

AND

Candidate must have one (1) of the following qualification:

1. Yamaha Certificate Minimum Grade 7;
2. The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) Certificate Minimum Grade 5;
3. Trinity College London (TCL) Certificate Minimum Grade 5;
4. London College of Music (LCM) Certificate Minimum Grade 5;
5. Australian GUILD Music & Speech Exam Board Certificate Minimum Grade 5;
6. Possess other related certificate(s) in Music;

AND

Pass audition and interview.

AND

Possess a recognised GCE A-Level qualification;

AND

Obtain at least Grade B in any two (2) at the GCE A-Level;

AND

Candidate must have one (1) of the following qualification:

1. Yamaha Certificate Minimum Grade 7;
2. The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) Certificate Minimum Grade 5;
3. Trinity College London (TCL) Certificate Minimum Grade 5;
4. London College of Music (LCM) Certificate Minimum Grade 5;
5. Australian GUILD Music & Speech Exam Board Certificate Minimum Grade 5;
6. Possess other related certificate(s) in Music;

AND

Pass audition and interview.

AND

Obtain at least Band 3.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for the examination starting session 1 of 2021 or Band 2 for the examination until 2020 according to the validity period on the date of application.

However, applicants who do not possess a MUET but possessed the following results may be considered for a conditional offer with the fulfilment of the MUET requirements within the duration of one (1) academic session: 

1. Obtained of at least Band 4.5 (Academic) in IELTS;
2. Obtained of at least 33 points in TOEFL iBT (Centre-based)

Obtain at least a CGPA of 3.00 at the STPM level not the current year;

AND

Obtain at least Grade B- in any two (2) subjects at the STPM level not the current year;

AND

Candidate must have one (1) of the following qualification:

1. Yamaha Certificate Minimum Grade 7;
2. The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) Certificate Minimum Grade 5;
3. Trinity College London (TCL) Certificate Minimum Grade 5;
4. London College of Music (LCM) Certificate Minimum Grade 5;

AND

Obtain at least a CGPA of 3.00 at the Matriculation / Foundation level not the current year

Obtain at least Grade B- in any two (2) subjects at the Matriculation / Foundation level;

AND

Candidate must have one (1) of the following qualification:

1. Yamaha Certificate Minimum Grade 7;
2. The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) Certificate Minimum Grade 5;
3. Trinity College London (TCL) Certificate Minimum Grade 5;
4. London College of Music (LCM) Certificate Minimum Grade 5;

OR

Candidate must have one (1) of the following qualification:

1. Yamaha Certificate Minimum Grade 7;
2. The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) Certificate Minimum Grade 5;
3. Trinity College London (TCL) Certificate Minimum Grade 5;
4. London College of Music (LCM) Certificate Minimum Grade 5;
