Biography

 
 
Azizullah Azizyar was born in 1991 in the Jaghori district, Ghazni province.  He graduated from the Art College of Kabul University in 2015, majoring in photography.  He has attended many workshops and events related to documentary photography and news related photographs.  Currently, he is working as a filmmaker and documentary photographer in Kabul.  He has exhibited his work in many national and international exhibitions.
 
 
Abulfazl Rezaei, nicknamed Waresta, was born in 1994, during the Taliban era in Kabul, Afghanistan.  After the fall of the Taliban and with the rise of Karzai, he was able to start his schooling.  He started university in 2014, at the Art College of the University of Kabul, majoring in Photography.  He then started taking photos of different events in different provinces of Afghanistan. He has a strong academic approach to photography, something he gained from studying with Hanifa Alizada and Reza Yemak.  Since 2014 he has participated in many exhibitions in different institutions in Afghanistan.
 
 
Amanaulla Sedaqat was born in 1371 (1992), in the distant  village of Ghaibi located in Daikundi province.  He completed his primary school years in Afghanistan.  However, during the Taliban regime he migrated to Iran and lived there for 10 years where he completed an undergraduate degree in Computer Studies and Photography.  After returning to Afghanistan, he joined the Third Eye Photojournalism Centre, which is also a cultural and academic Center.  Amanullah Sedaqat has 10 years experience in Photojournalism, documentary, urban photography, as well as other cultural and artistic related activities.  He exhibited his works in many national and international organisations.
 
 
Hadi Morawej has been a practicing artist since 2011.  When he started to explore photography, he did not limit himself to any one style.   Hamdi participated in many exhibits, including international ones in New York at the Much Gallery, the Danish Museum of Photography in Herning and the cultural museum of Sweden.   Hadi has been using his mobile phone instead of a camera.  The majority of his subjects are people of the lower class who work or beg on the street.  He wants to show the ‘fleeting moment’ as well as confront his own emotions facing the subject.  In other words, he is looking for spontaneity in the subject, but he is also looking and investigating his own emotional response to the image.
 
 
Ishaq Anis was borned in Ghazni province in Afghanistan.  Between 2008 and 2012 he was a refugee in Quetta Pakistan.   When he returned to Afghanistan, he moved to Kabul and completed a degree in Photography from Kabul University.   Ishaq Anis prefers documentary and landscape photography.   He currently resides in Kabul where he works as photography and as a videographer.  He also participated in national and international exhibits and art competitions.
 
 
Mohammad Anwar Rahimi was born in 1993 in the Parsa District of Parwan Province.  He is  a 2016 graduate from the Art College of Kabul University.  Mohammad Anwar Rahimi has attended many conferences and photography related events.  He is currently working as a filmmaker and film editor in Kabul.  He also has exhibited many of his works in and outside of Afghanistan
 
 
Mohib Ali is a self-taught photographer.   He graduated from Istiqlal high school in Kabul.  He has been working as a photographer for the past five years with governmental and private institutions.  He has participated in two group exhibits and many of his photographs have been published for book covers and in the international Black & White Minimalism Photography Magazine.
 
 
Naseer Turkmani was born in 1990 in the province of Parwan, Afghanistan.  He is currently based in Kabul.  He started his artistic practice in 2005 as a self-taught photographer.  Five years later he participated in a short 3 months class in photojournalism at the Third Eye institute in Kabul.  Naseer Turkmani also participated in many other short workshops on photography with famous photographers such as Jan Grarup, David Bathgate, Lorenzo Tugnoli, Steve McCurry and other photographers visiting Afghanistan.  He has had two solo shows and participated in many national and international group exhibitions.
 
 
Nilofar Niekpor was born in 1994 in Kabul city, her family is from Parwan province.  After graduating high school in 2014, she enrolled in the Art College of Kabul University, graduating in 2017 with a Photography major.  She has participated in several intensive workshops and she is a member of the Sahar Speaks art group.
 
 
Adeq Naseri first worked as a photojournalist for Jame-e- Baz and  Hasht-e-Sobh.  He later worked as chief editor for Third Eye Film as well as chief editor for the Afghan photography network.  He then moved to film making.  He also teaches photography for different organisations and is freelance   photographer publishing in  many organisations and magasines.  Sadeq has also joined the CSF Community to support film making in Afghanistan.  He is a self-taught film maker and has directed the short film “Trashcan”.  He joined the 3rd eye film project as co-director of the film “Mobile Library” winning first prize at TOKYO DOC.  He has participated in many national and international exhibits.
 
 
Zahra Khodadadi finished her elementary school in Iran.  Her and her family only returned to Afghanistan after the fall the of the Taliban regime.  After the fall of the Taliban regime and early years of former president Karzai her family came back to Afghanistan where she continued her education.  She has now graduated from the University of Kabul — College of Fine Arts and works as a Graphic Designer.  While studying at college, she registered in an institute of art and photography and started working as a photographer while still studying at the university.  She prefers to photograph landscapes and people’s daily lives in the city.  She has taken part in several national and international exhibitions.
