Dr. Premalatha Thiagarajan, a Bharatanatyam dance exponent from the Faculty of Creative Arts, was invited to be part of the dance offerings at the Vande Guru Paramparaam, that was held to acknowledge the timeless contribution of revered dance guru, Ms. Suryakala, on 12 July at the Temple of Fine Arts Kuala Lumpur. Dr.Prema is a disciple of Ms. Suryakala. Congratulations to Dr. Prema on your wonderful performance! It was a rare opportunity to witness a Bharatanatyam academician-scholar in action—an intellectually inspiring dancer whose artistry beautifully reflects both academic excellence and artistic mastery.
